About

When trying to decided what to do with my life after high school I was inspired by junk mail to become a graphic designer. As I continued my studies, I fall in love with video editing.
I’ve been a video editor for over ten years now. Video editing has taken me around the world and I have meet some amazing people because of it. I love hearing new stories and helping others communicate their vision. I am now the media director at an amazing mega church, The Rock Church and World Outreach Center, helping grow the creative team and create videos with meaning, impact and creativity.
I picked photography up when I was a graphic designer because I was in need of photos for projects. I bought a digital SLR only to get it stolen a few months later. I then came across a film camera at a second hand shop and began to really learn photography. I now shoot with a Canon 7D for videos and photography.
The original purpose of this website was for my resume and demo reel. But I soon began blogging about everything I was in to. I was then encouraged by those who found it interesting to keep on creating.
Here I am free to be me and hope you are encouraged by my journey as a creative.
So glad to have found you through WP tags…your work is amazing.
Thank you! I’m looking at your blog now and totally enjoy it!
Nice photos! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Glad you enjoy them.
Your last few sentences really resonate with me as I set out to find my own “purpose” for my blog and to find my own sense of freedom of expression. I love your work.
Always be free!
I’ve had a 7D for about a year now….wish I still had my old 30D. Hopefully a course on the 7D will restore my confidence – I feel like I have stepped backwards with what is supposed to a great bit of kit.
